Depending on the nature of your condition, initial office visits may be handled by a nurse, physiotherapist, primary care physician, or specialist surgeon. These visits may consist of a full medical history with or without focused physical exam, and you may be asked to complete medical questionnaires. Patients may then need to be re-scheduled for follow-up investigations or treatment in either the hospital or the office. To expedite care, some patients are seen for their initial consult visit at the time of cystoscopy or urodynamic studies.
